They claim over Over 10 million people have joined Replika sure buddy ? Thats your social proof right there - but is it any good?

We tested this and its - not the best 😆 

So here is what happened:

You jump into the sign-up process, which, by the way, is totally free (pretty cool, right?). But then, whoosh! You're suddenly in a whirlwind of popups, all cheerfully nudging you to grab a subscription and pick ‘a plan’. You might wonder, "What's this mysterious plan?" Well, it's a month for 19.99 USD, but wait for it... you can snag a whopping 70% off if you commit for a year. Seems like they're not super confident you'll stick around for long with your AI buddy, huh?

So, we dive in and, ta-da, a customization screen awaits. And then, the big moment: your character appears, and surprise – it's a blank canvas of white! What a plot twist, right?

That is not even the worst. Our AI character was totally bugged and kept floating out of the ground repeatedly over and over. When we tried to change her clothing, yes you guessed right, you have to pay for that one. 😲
